Specifically developed chip space parameters, such as chip angle, transition radius, and the extra-wide chip groove, ensure optimal chip and heat removal, thus enabling a very high wear resistance. Additionally, the new geometry counteracts material welding and greatly reduces sinking forces. During the sinking process, significantly less feed force is required.
