Hello, The telescope in question is a smart telescope, which works well in vertical alignment. However, there is now an EQ mode, i.e. equatorial alignment, which improves the image quality. To do this, the approx. 3.5 kg telescope must be aligned at an angle of approx. 45° towards Polaris. I am therefore looking for a tripod with a 3/8" thread, stable enough to support the deflected centre of gravity and a suitable head (2-way), possibly with a levelling adapter. Can anyone recommend a combination that remains financially within the hobby range? Thank you.

I am blind and find it difficult to hold the smartphone steady when photographing A4 sheets of paper and QR codes. What kind of tripod do I need to scan documents efficiently with my smartphone? The scanning process: 1. I place the tripod on the table or quickly assemble it from a few parts. 2. i set the tripod to a certain height, e.g. by moving the tray on which the smartphone is placed up or down. i can determine how high it should be using a brand. 3. i now place the smartphone on the shelf above a hole and take a photo of the document lying on the plate below or on the table. I don't need a swivelling or tilting tripod, it should only take pictures downwards. LED lighting might be useful if I'm sitting in the dark and there's no flash in the app. Many thanks for your help

Hey everyone! I need your experience and expertise in this discussion. I would like to buy an indoor tripod soon, which is above all inexpensive (between 100 and 200 CHF). My equipment (as of now) is a Sony A7iii. I will then buy this rig cage (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/smallrig-light-cage-for-sony-a7-iii-a7r-iii-a9-2918-video-zubehoer-21222104) and so the tripod should also be compatible with this cage. Mainly indoor shots in landscape and portrait format are planned. Can you help me with this and recommend a suitable tripod? Thank you very much!

Hello, I am looking for an inexpensive tripod to set up a VR base station (1.0/2.0 thread). I only found the model mentioned (Skywin VR Tripod Stand) on Amazon (who are so happy to send absolutely any item to Switzerland) and am therefore looking for a similar alternative that is available here or in a Swiss shop. It is purely for a base station. So I don't need any unnecessary luxury. But it is important that it is at least 2 metres long. Thanks in advance for useful information :)
