Best system camera for content creation on YouTube, as a facecam for livestreaming and travelling

Hey I'm looking for a new camera for content creation for Youtube (product reviews, B-Rolls,) but also as a facecam for Youtube videos and Twitch, but also as a simple travel camera. I had the Sony ZV1, which looks good as a facecam, but I'm not really happy with it for B-rolls and product reviews. I have these cameras on my shortlist: - Sony ZV E-10 - Panasonic Lumix S9 - Fujifilm X-M5 - Canon EOS R50 but I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to camera specs and unfortunately couldn't find much information on which cameras need a dummy battery and therefore don't overheat. I find the idea of the 6K Opengate function and also IBIS very interesting, which of course not all of them support. Has anyone had good experiences with these cameras or does anyone know whether they can be used as facecams?

Travel camera - in search of the egg-laying wool-milk sow

Hello together We are going on holiday to Australia for more than 2 months at the end of the year. I would like to buy a new camera or just a new lens. It is important to me that the camera has a high zoom with good image quality and also produces good pictures in low light. Our first consideration was to orientate ourselves towards a compact camera (small, light, quick to use). However, I am now a little torn as to whether this is the right way to go or whether we should buy another lens for our Nikon SLR D7100 (we currently use a 40 - 200mm lens). In my initial research, I couldn't find a compact camera that covered all my requirements. The disadvantage of the SLR is simply that it is quite heavy and big for hiking etc. Can you recommend a compact camera that would meet my needs and complement my SLR? Or which addition to my SLR camera would you buy? I'm quite open to the budget if it can fulfil my wishes. Thank you very much.

Which underwater camera Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra or GoPro Hero 13 Black

Hello, I am faced with the decision of whether to buy a housing with light (SeaLife SportDiver Ultra Pro 2500F Set) for the S24 Ultra for approx. 750 or the GoPro 13 with housing for approx. 400. The device will mainly be used for snorkelling and possibly once a year for diving. What would you recommend? Many thanks for your support.

Camera which supports standalone WLAN and network transfer via SFTP

Hello together Unfortunately I have only been able to find what I was looking for in the upper league of Canon / Sony / Nikon, but is it also cheaper / easier? We are looking for a camera that supports standalone WLAN and network transfer via SFTP. No special requirements for image quality, no smartphone. WPA2 or better WPA3 support Automatic transfer of images to the SFTP

    Godox V1 TTL Sony

I am interested in the Godox V1 TTL for Sony to use the flash with an A7 IV. In many forums I read about problems with the (plastic) feet. A newer version is now supposed to be delivered with metal feet. Is the one offered here already in metal? Thank you for an answer.

    Sony 200-600 G OSS

Hello everyone. There are currently 2 versions of the Sony 200-600 lens on Digitec. One version costs 1600, the other 2500. what is the difference? Item numbers are: 11226951 (Cheap) 25403645 (Expensive) I am not aware that Sony has released a version II of the 200-600. For the 70-200, yes, but not for the 200-600...

    Carrying system for DSLR

I currently have the original Canon hand strap on my 80d and am happy with it. However, sometimes I would be happy if I could put it on for a short time to use both hands (e.g. to pick up my child or something) and not have to put the camera down somewhere. Is there a system where you have a hand strap mounted and can optionally mount a strap relatively quickly and easily, without much threading? The original Canon strap is not an option, although it could be attached to the hand strap. I would prefer ONE base plate on the tripod thread, on which I can mount a hand strap, a sling strap or the camera on such a clip for e.g. on the backpack strap or belt. So once again, the egg-laying-wool-milk sow *wink*. Thank you very much for your suggestions.

    Nikon Coolpix P950

Does anyone know the difference between the Nikon Coolpix P950 and the P950 (EU) European version? I am guessing the slightly more expensive non EU version comes with perhaps a memory card or something similar.

Inexpensive alternative to a GoPro camera

Hello dear Community, I am currently looking for a camera that I can use to capture work steps in the form of videos. I find GoPros a bit too expensive for my needs. I have already tried a "cheap" action cam, but it proved to be completely useless. That's why I'm turning to you guys for some advice. What alternative cameras can you recommend? Do you have any suggestions? It doesn't have to be a 4K camera. It's enough if it has 1080p. Thanks in advance for your help!

    Buy recommendation for +- 1'000CHF

Hello Together Since I'm not that familiar with cameras yet, I'm wondering what purchase recommendation you can give me. Basically, I would use the camera for shooting sports, portraits and landscapes. I'm currently leaning towards the Sony Alpha 6400, what do you think? In particular, which lens? 35mm would be the sweet spot, wouldn't it? LG Eric

I'll be taking a D750 with me, but I want to take a second camera that's a bit more compact. Since it will still be rainy in November, it will also have to be able to take some water. Gimbal

Hello all For wildlife photography I use my EOS R6 and depending on the telephoto lens Ca EF 100-400 or the Sigma 60-600. Especially for the Sigma 60-600 the tripod head I used so far is not so suitable. Now I would like to buy a gimbal. Among the many products I looked at the Benro GH2 zZ Fr. 266.00 and the Benro GH2N zZ Fr. 289.00. The Benro GH2 is designed for 23kg and the GH2N for 25kg, so not much difference. However, I am a little unsure about the specifications or the general information, which is mostly stated as "unknown" for the GH2N and there are also no reviews available. Who has experience with the Benro GH2 or Benro GH2N? Both are made of aluminium and are roughly equivalent in weight (1.4kg and 1.2kg respectively). But what is the main difference between the two and what would you recommend? I look forward to your feedback. Thank you very much.

    Portable studio flash

Hello Together I am currently employed as a photographer for a carpentry company and go to photograph the completed objects (mostly houses). Since my camera (Nikon D750) is not so great in ISO, (from 200 or at the latest 400 ISO the picture already has the ISO noise!), I need a flash! I have a clip-on flash, but it is sometimes too weak and also has rather harsh light. Since I want to move the camera freely (no camera tripod), I need an external flash, preferably on a tripod. The flash, or also permanent light, should be able to be operated with a rechargeable battery. If possible, it should not be very heavy. The lamp / flash should have a soft light and rather a large light cone. (Also for large rooms). Does anyone know what would be suitable for me? Greetings Karin

Purchase recommendation sought for mobile phone tripod and teleprompter

I run a continuing education institute and in the pandemic I hired a filmmaker who had videotaped live seminars at my place. Now I want to record videos myself with my iPhone 12 Plus. To do this, I have these questions: I have so far set up a small tripod on a table and various documents, but now I would like to use a large tripod that stands on the floor. I also want to buy a teleprompter. - I have already bought a Jinbei 2600 FP lamp tripod. Since I always want to film in the same room with good light in the future, I don't really need this as a lamp tripod anymore. Is there an attachment that could be used to mount the iPhone on the Jinbei tripod? - If not, what tripod should I buy for the iPhone? I won't be travelling around with it, so it doesn't have to be very light and small, just functional and as cheap as possible. - And which teleprompter is suitable with this equipment? I will be standing about 2-3m away from the camera.

Right camera for sports video recording (wide angle)

Hey Community I have a challenge. I want to shoot sports from a bird's eye view, preferably with a camera, the area to be filmed is about 30 m x 60 m and the camera is mounted approximately in the middle, i.e. at about 30 m from the 60 m. The camera is mounted in the middle of the area. I currently tried it with a DJI Osmo Action mounted on a telescopic pole. Although I raise the telescopic pole about 7 metres, I end up missing about 2 - 3 metres on both the left and right, i.e. I get about 30 m x 54 m on the image already with adjusted resolution quality. Before I buy x cameras and have to return them, I would like to ask the community whether I can get the whole area to be filmed at the same distance or even from a shorter distance with a compact camera or a camcorder. And do you have any camera recommendations in this regard? In any case, it would have to be controllable via Bluetooth / WLAN or a corresponding remote control. Many thanks for your support
