    Intel W880 motherboards

Digitec recently listed the ASUS PRO WS W880-ACE SE at a rather dubious price. (2859.- as of 19.05.25). Will the mainboards from Gigabyte, Supermicro and Asrock also be included in the range? Gigabyte: https://www.gigabyte.com/ch... Asrock: https://www.asrockrack.com/general... Supermicro: https://www.supermicro.com/en... According to rumours, however, these will not be delivered until Q1 26. Does Digitec already have more concrete information on this?

Compatibility MSI Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI motherboard

Hello, Do you know if the intel i7 14700k processor is compatible with the MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI motherboard? Also, are the Phanteks xt pro ultra case and the Msi coreliquid i360 watercooling compatible with this motherboard, particularly in terms of the fan and ARGB cable connections?

The PCIe 5.x search option would be helpful to simplify the search procedure.

    Which motherboard for i7-7700?

Hello, I would like to buy a new motherboard for my computer but I wanted to be for compatibility with my current processor (i7-7700). After a quick search, I see that I need a Z270 motherboard, is this mandatory or can I buy a Z370 or Z390 motherboard? Thank you in advance for your answers! PL

    AM5 motherboard for CAD

Hi everyone, I'm putting together a new PC (mine's nearly 8 years old!), and I'm not sure which motherboard to choose. There's a lot to choose from and I must admit I'm at a loss. Here's what I need: Main use: AutoCAD, a bit of 3D modelling, and fast file transfers to external drives. I do the occasional game, but that's not my priority. Quick start-up. I have a Corsair 780T white case, white as a bonus. - Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 9900X (AM5). - Budget: Approximately 250 CHF - 300 CHF (or a little more). - Fast data transfer - Good connectivity: built-in Wi-Fi, several M.2 slots for fast SSDs, etc. - Scalability: I know the term 'future-proof' is often misused, but I want to be safe for potential upgrades in 5 years' time. I have a list of motherboards whose price I'm keeping an eye on, but even with that I'm a bit lost. https://www.galaxus.ch/fr... Thanks for your help!

    Filter by Ethernet speed?

I am always looking for motherboards with an Ethernet speed of 10 Gb, as my PC is connected to a NAS and I need this speed for video editing. But I can't find this filter anywhere. Have I not found it yet or does it really not exist?

    X870E mainboards

Hello everyone, does anyone know if new X870E motherboards are coming out soon? I'm looking for one with a 10Gbit Lan connection, I don't like the Asus ProArt and the AI Top Extreme from Gigabyte is far too expensive at 820 for just having 10Gbit Lan...

Release date of the mainboards would be good to know

Early PCI4 mainboards had problems with efficiency and heat, more modern ones less so.

Two questions about USB4 on X870E mainboards

    1. is it possible to deactivate USB4 in the BIOS? 2. does this free up the four PCI-E lanes to the CPU required by USB4? Thank you for your research.

Mainboard with USB-C and PD (Power Delivery)

Hello Who knows motherboards (in a reasonable price range) that offer Power Delivery via USB-C (at least 30W)? Background: I would like to be able to charge an iphone properly via the front USB-C port of the case. Ideally also when the PC is in standby or switched off.

HELP!!! Bios Crash Asus Mainboard Crosshair VIHero X370 Chipset

Hello, I have flashed the BIOS on the Asus Crosshair VI Hero X379 , Ryzen 1700X from 6802 to 7002.When updating the screen was suddenly black after loading, after waiting for some time I restarted the computer and now nothing happens. On the back I have once the BIOS reset button, there is also nothing happens, think if BIOS is broken normal and once the BIOS flashback button, there he also does not start with the BIOS flash. In the description is a USB stick with BIOS version and pc start, but he does not read the BIOS even after repeated pressing the flashback button. Nothing happens anymore. Does anyone have any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? Is the mainboard corroded? Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

    10 Gigabit Ethernet Mainboard

Sali Zämä I am looking for a desktop mainboard. It should: be able to do -10gig ethernet -support 16 gig ddr4 RAM have -2 to 3 pci-e connectors (1 Davon x16) -Socket doesn't matter. Advantage: (LGA 775, LGA 1366, LGA 1156, LGA 1155, LGA 2011, LGA 1150, LGA 2011-v3), I have the cooler for it. -Crossfire/Sli doesn't have to be able to do it, I only have a GK -Of course it has to be newer (good bus speed etc.) I know, I could also filter and research it myself. But it doesn't have the "10gig network" filter yet... so I would have to look through hundreds of boards. Maybe one of you has already bought such a 10gig board? Greetings, Luky

    Digitec Login

(Didn't know how else to enter a comment, so here at "Mainboard") Digitec, are you serious? Filling in a captcha when logging in and also lowering the logout timeout? That makes it extremely tedious, especially since the captcha doesn't work for me on different devices and I have to keep clicking on pictures. It really doesn't add any value ...

    Mainboard repair Bern

Hello, I wanted to ask if anyone in the Community knows someone who can repair a defective mainboard for me. The mainboard is not badly damaged at all. It could be that only a voltage converter is broken. I would be grateful for your answers.

    AM5 motherboards disappoint!

Why are there no good motherboards up to max. 300Fr.? I want PCIe 5 for the GrakKa and I need more than just 4x sata (some even have 2x), simply ridiculous. I'd also like it not to be black, but that's not a must. Get a ban Gigabyte MB! What do you think? Then again up to 5x M.2, because they were so common in the past and I don't know where to put them, NOT!!! Even PCIe gen 5 for M.2 is not noticed by anyone except in Synth Bench's.

[solved] Search M.2 screws fitting into M.2 standoff

[solved] I have an Asus Z170-K mainboard. I have now bought an M.2 SSD and want to install it. Now I realise that I don't have any screws that fit into these M.2 standoffs (seems to be the technical term). The thread is so small that laptop case screws fit in. I can't find any M.2 screws or anything suitable here on digitec. Also, when I insert the M.2 into the slot and press down on the M.2 standoff, the M.2 is at an angle and not flat. So I would have to screw something into the M.2 standoff on the mainboard to get the height right, and then screw a screw into this something to fix the M.2 in place. What is the correct name for these screws? And does digitec even have such a set? 1x M.2 standoff spacer 1x M.2 screw Thank you

    MSI X570 Unify quasi-denial of warranty - a harassment!

I bought my X570 Unify secondhand privately, outside of Digitec. I was given the original receipt for the warranty. Well, 1 year later it came as it had to and the sound output of the mainboard no longer worked. Okay, I'll make an enquiry about the RMA, I thought, and wrote to digitec with the corresponding proof of purchase attached. Unfortunately, the person in charge told me that it was not possible for the item to be credited to my account and removed from the original buyer's account. This is not possible for reasons of data protection and if it is, it is only possible with a written confirmation. Of course, in my case, the seller did not buy the motherboard himself but his mother or another relative. It is therefore virtually impossible for me to obtain this confirmation. I find the fact that the legal warranty is denied under the guise of data protection to be absolute chicanery. In addition, it contradicts the sense of sustainability with regard to the product - normally the proof of purchase and the product are sufficient for an RMA in most shops... .. That's impossible from Digitec. Btw. All comments regarding - you just have to buy directly from Digitec - you can save yourselves. I like to use used components for my PC builds, which are more in the budget range, either because the price is better or because of the idea of sustainability - used parts from an enthusiast (e.g. RAM, motherboard etc. are still good for the builds mentioned).

    Meaning "BIOS Flashback"?

I wonder what exactly Digitec means by "BIOS Flashback", simply that you can do a flashback at all or that it works without a CPU?

HP Omen 30l with 3070 Ti Upgrade

Please use Sessions, back un the whole article was gone.... ergo. --- The HP Omen 30l I bought had a 2070 Super. I recently bought a 3070 Ti, not installed yet. New 2x 16 GB are also available. I will also install new fans, one will be replaced. The new fans will go in places not intended for them, so drilling, possibly cutting and milling will be necessary. That's why I'm now leaning towards a new case. But if I do, then only in conjunction with a new mainboard and CPU. Specs: - Power supply -- 750 W -- 115 V/230 V -- 80 PLUS certificate: Platinum - Mainboard Dorado, HP own MB -- Chipset: Intel Z490 -- Socket LGA 1200 -- Intel Core i7-10700K -- 3070 Ti [Done] - RAM HyperX XMP 16 GB - WD_BLACK 1 TB PCIe NVMe TLC SSD -- Interface: PCIe Gen 3 -- Form Factor: M.2 2280 Stronger power supply necessary? If ONLY new MB, recommendation? If NEW MB - Which case? - Which MB? - Which CPU? Prerequisite: Intel.
