Custom water cooling for existing system - looking for help and tips

Hello together I'm thinking about installing a custom-made water cooling system (i.e. not an all-in-one) in my existing system. Unfortunately, I don't know much about it yet, but I find the topic super exciting. So I have a few questions for you: How difficult is it to install a custom water cooling system if you've never done this before? Are there any services or shops in Switzerland that can professionally install or help with this? Are there people here in the Community who would support such a project - with tips, experience or perhaps even on site? Where can I find suitable components? (e.g. radiators, pumps, expansion tanks, fittings etc.) Can you recommend shops or platforms where you can easily order the parts? What should I pay particular attention to with an existing system? I'm grateful for any help and recommendations - including links or pictures of your own builds! 😄 Many thanks in advance!

    Cleaning product for watercooling

Hi, I do not find any cleaning product for watercooling system. Is it right? Products like Liquid Cooling Cleaner: Mayhems Blitz, PrimoChill System Reboot, or EK-CryoFuel System Cleaner

Question for the water cooling professionals

Good morning all I'm on the verge of making a build with a WaKü after having built umpteen systems myself... :-) Question: Is the issue of deposits with the various liquids still so extreme? Unfortunately, I read completely different reports of experiences here. Some complain about deposits, which are already extremely visible after about 8 months, while others even seem to manage for several years without it looking like shit... :-) I thought here that I would take a clear liquid and then colour it myself, so that I would get a "custom colour". So for example https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/ekwb-ek-cryofuel-1000-ml-fertiggemisch-wasserkuehlung-wasserzusatz-11051998?supplier=406802 and then: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/xspc-ec6-recolour-dye-uv-aqua-30-ml-farbzusatz-wasserkuehlung-wasserzusatz-9895853?supplier=406802 Or would you rather use the "ready-made" ones right from the start? E.G. https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/ekwb-ek-cryofuel-1000-ml-fertiggemisch-wasserkuehlung-wasserzusatz-12826267 I was also thinking of building 2 complete loops. For the components, I am still wavering somewhat between Corsair and EKWB. EKWB would probably have a block available for my card (Suprim X 3090 Ti) in the near future, but I don't have any information about Corsair yet... One for the CPU / MB and another for the GPU. On the one hand for the optics, since two different colours are supposed to form an optical contrast here, and on the other hand I think that the danger of undersizing is certainly not so great. As I have read from various forum experiences, many problems are also due to the fact that many people want to integrate too many devices in a single circuit... Now question to the professionals among you, does that make any sense? :D Many thanks for your help!

Will you be adding the Hydro X components to the range and if so, when can we expect them at the earliest?

Basic question about a custom water cooling system

I am currently using a ready-made AIO from Gamerstorm (https://www.gamerstorm.com/product...) for my 18-core 10980xe CPU. I bought this cooling system for the 7820x and was never really happy with it. Temperatures of around 100 degrees were reached with both CPUs. Now I'm toying with a custom build from EKWB. But I wonder if I will ever get down from 100 degrees to 60-70. The reasoning is as follows. Currently the temperature jumps to 100 degrees and after the benchmark it quickly drops to 40 degrees in idle. So the current cooler is doing something. But the question is whether an EKWB cooling block, as an example, will not even allow these 100 degrees. But the heat is generated so quickly that I can't imagine how this could be improved. I run 4.3 Ghz on all cores in Cinebench R20 and find it far too little compared to what is said about this CPU.

Help! Silicone insert water cooling wanted

Dear friends Got my hardtubes today and unfortunately ordered the wrong silicone tube to bend. I need one in 12/13 mm. Could someone lend me one of those? Digitec and other shops don't have it in stock. And ordering a kit is too expensive for me.

    Expand water cooling range

Hey Digitec Team Have you ever considered expanding your water cooling range? Especially Bitspower, Barrow or other manufacturers in the Asian area have extremely good and also inexpensive products.

    Water cooling Overheated!

Hello together! Two days ago, the fan hub failed while I was gaming. So my Custom Loop(2x 360 Radiator, CPU&GPUblock, Softtubes) ran completely passive. Since I was gaming with headphones, I only noticed the malfunction when the CPU emergency shutdown. All components were extremely hot... At the moment, everything is still tight and works perfectly. But I wonder if something could still be damaged? Only because the system ran extremely hot. What do you think?

    XSPC Ultrathin Radiators

Will you be including the new XSPC Ultrathin radiators in the range? They're coming out in a fortnight. You can find them on Caseking (https://www.caseking.de/search), for example.
