    Finding the right amplifier

I need help to find the right reciever for me... it doesn't actually have to be able to do much... A stereo pair of Teufel Ultima 40 speakers will be connected. It should have an optical input for my Swisscom TV, as well as Bluetooth for streaming from Iphone13 and Macbook Pro M1... Accordingly, only sound will be played via the reciever and only in stereo. Would be glad for tips... But since I'm not part of the upper class, please no devices 600.- upwards... As cheap as possible but without buying junk Many thanks

    Music in an alpine hut

Hello together I would like to install a music system in an alpine hut. This should play DAB+ radio at the touch of a button, so it should be very uncomplicated. A Bluetooth connection with the mobile would also be important, e.g. to play Spotify. The cabin has no internet connection, so no network. If possible, I am looking for a wireless solution with 3-4 speakers, one of which should be outside. The system should also have a bit of power, so not a 0815 radio. Can someone suggest how I can solve this so that I can define an approximate price tag? Merci vilmal Greetings Beat

    DAB+ FM converter

Hello Together I have an old stereo system (very old) that only supports FM. Since I want to continue using it, I am looking for a converter with which I can convert the DAB+ signal into an FM signal. Of course, you can do a lot of tinkering, for example by connecting a DAB radio via AUX input, or buying one of those adapters that are available for cars. However, I don't want to do it this way, because it would degrade the stereo system to a kind of amplifier with speakers. I am therefore looking for a converter that can convert the DAB signals of all (or at least about 10-20) stations into FM signals, so that I can still tune the stations to the scale of the stereo. Unfortunately, despite a long search, I haven't found anything like this, does anyone know if it exists. Thank you very much for your feedback. Simon

    Stereo, Record Player & Streaming

I would like to buy a record player and have already looked at one or two. I have problems with the selection of the equipment. I have the following requirements: Streaming music via e.g. Spotify (from IOS devices) & connecting speakers and the turntable. What would you recommend for a set-up from your experience? Price-wise, I would be entry-level to mid-range.

    HIFI system 3.1

The surrounds of my old subwoofer speaker have disintegrated after about 26 years. Now I have bought the Dali Oberon 5 at Digitec which sound very good. Since my receiver is about the same age and has no digital inputs, I'm looking for a good DAB + receiver that you can connect two fronts and a centre. Does anyone have a type? Most of the ones that would fit me have stereo without a centre connection. Price up to about 500.-.

    CD Changer for HiFi System

I am looking for a CD changer for a hi-fi system that is getting a bit long in the tooth. Unfortunately, I can't find what I'm looking for here at Digitec and am now hoping for the community. Do you have any tips on a CD changer for a hi-fi system?

    Soundcore Motion Boom

Hello Together I have seen that the music box "Anker Soundcore Motion Boom" has been released this year, but I have only seen it offered for sale on German and Austrian online shops and neither on Digitec, nor on other Swiss online shops. Do you know if and when the box will be released in Switzerland? (On Digitec there are also offers for other Anker boxes) (Sorry, wrong assortment community, I posted the question in the right one) Thank you and kind regards

    Multifunctional audio system

I would like to upgrade my audio environment a bit. I currently have a Canton Soundplate DM75 for the TV and smaller PC speakers for the record player. I would like to combine these two purposes. Unfortunately, I have no idea about audio systems ;). In addition, my room is very dull for sound, because it is quite an open room with a wooden floor, several small glass windows and sloping roofs with wooden beams. What I would like to have: - 3.1 system should do for now, but it would be cool if I could expand it in the future. - Good for listening to music as well as movies and games, with games and movies having priority. - Not huge power consumption - Bluetooth connection should be available to be able to play music from the smartphone as well - Ideally, I could add more speakers to the same system in other rooms to supply the whole flat with music via smartphone (optional). If it's significantly cheaper, I'd also be happy to use individual Bluetooth speakers for this or, if necessary, set up a second multi-room system in addition to the "entertainment" system). Thank you very much for your suggestions!

    Which setup suits me?

Hello all, I would like to buy a stereo system, budget approx. 2000.-. On the one hand I like to listen to LP's and on the other hand I would like to have a surround system for watching TV. So I'm looking for a good middle ground between hi-fi and surround. So far I've been looking at Klipsch speakers, which seem to be good value for money. Unfortunately, I have no idea about amplifiers / AV receivers, especially what would fit together. Can you help me find the right setup? Thanks, Sam

    miniDSP and Dirac Live

Anyone who has been involved in HIFI knows that good sound is usually not due to the technology (loudspeakers etc.) but to the room. That's why I would like to recommend Digitec and all HIFI fans to take a look at the products from miniDSP and thus also from Dirac Live or to include them in the range. Dirac Live is a room correction software (the manufacturer originally comes from the professional cinema sector) and miniDSP is a digital signal correction. Together, a stereo set (miniDSP with Dirac Live) costs 399 USD. The whole thing has lifted my system (Klipsch with SVS subwoofer) to a completely new level and that goes for pretty much everyone who has tried it. Quick Tip. There is a 30-day trial version for the PC, then it would only need an investment of 100 CHF for a measuring microphone to try out whether it is worth it.
