At our logistics site in Neuenburg am Rhein, we are building one of Europe's most advanced logistics hubs. With a second, significantly larger warehouse opening by mid-2027, the site will grow to more than 1,000 employees. We are introducing a coaching program for sustainable operational excellence and you, as a Lean Coach, support our managers in implementing this together. You learn actively through practice – with guidance, support, and coaching from the CI Lead and the Senior Lean Coach. Step by step, you grow into an impactful coach who makes change visible on the shopfloor. You act as a role model in your role and represent our values and associated leadership behaviors.

- Shopfloor Coaching: Coaching of leaders at operational level in Lean management – daily routines, problem-solving, coaching conversations, and feedback cycles, supported by the Senior Lean Coach and CI Lead. Building sustainable coaching rhythms through presence, observation, and consistent role-modelling
- Understanding, Applying, and Embedding GPS: Active contribution to implementing the Galaxus Performance System (GPS) at the Neuenburg site – establishing Gemba walks, problem-solving cycles, standard work, and escalation mechanisms in a pragmatic way. Structured development through the GPS stages (See-one, Do-one, Teach-one)
- Lean Events and Improvement Initiatives: Accompaniment and Co-facilitation of Lean improvement events (Kaizen, workshops, problem-solving sessions) under guidance of the Senior Lean Coach, with growing responsibility for running events and following up on results
- Your Own Development as a Coach:Structured Coach Journey with an external partner, working towards defined milestones: Toyota Tools certification, Yellow Belt (training + DMAIC project), coaching certification, an end-to-end Lean improvement project, GPS stages, and PPS. Regular reflection and active feedback-seeking
- Using Data as a Tool: Use of KPIs, metrics, and operational data to set coaching priorities, make progress visible, and translate insights into concrete coaching measures
Eisen
- Educational degree in logistics or a commercial field
- Leadership experience is desired
- Shopfloor experience is an advantage
- Good understanding of operational processes
- Using creativity and initiative to solve problems and achieve goals
- Expressing oneself truthfully and fostering genuine relationships
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity and effectiveness
